A-Cat-33 Triethylene Diamine (TEDA) Amine Catalyst

Supplied as a 33% blend in Dipropylene Glycol, A-Cat-33 is a tertiary amine that is used as a multi-purpose catalyst in the manufacture of polyurethane foam.

PURPOSE:

The most common polyurethane foam catalysts are tertiary amines. A-Cat-33 is a strong multi-purpose gelling catalyst for the reaction between isocyanate and polyol. Improved catalytic activity in the gelling reaction is achieved when A-Cat-33 is used in conjunction with an organometallic catalyst such at T-Cat-110 (Stannous Octoate)

APPLICATION:

A-Cat-33 is a general purpose gelling catalyst for use in the manufacture of flexible slab-stock foam. It can also be used as a catalyst for molded polyurethane foams, polyurethane coatings and adhesives.

ADVANTAGES:

Gulbrandsen is able to utilize its cost effective manufacturing to provide blends of A-Cat-33 with Bis (2-dimethylaminoethyl) Ether (BDMAEE) and Natural Polyol.
